How to burn a copyright protected DVD? How to copy protected DVDs to computer or to another DVD disc? Generally speaking, commercially produced DVDs that you have bought are protected by a variety of protections like CSS, RC and RCE. Here we use Wondershare DVD Copy, which can copy protected DVDs and even copy D9 DVD to D5 DVD, to have the job done in five steps:

DVD Step 1: Download and install Wondershare DVD Copy.

DVD Step 2: Select DVD Source.

After you have installed and launched Wondershare DVD Copy, insert the copyright protected DVD disc to your DVD driver. Click the “Source"drop-down menu,you will see two options: "DVD Folder" and "DVD-ROM". Select the DVD driver where the copyright protected DVD is inserted.
If you want to copy a DVD folder (with vob files in it) on your computer) which is also copyright protected, just select "DVD folder" and browse your computer to locate it.
Select Copy Source
Step 3: Select DVD Target Click the “Target"drop-down menu to select a target to output the selected DVD movie. Wondershare DVD Copy will bypass DVD copyright protection automatically and copy protected DVDs directly.

Copy DVD to ISO or DVD folder: If you want to backup your DVD movie to computer as DVD folder or ISO image file, you can select between “DVD Dolder"and "Image File" option, and specify a directory to save the copied DVD movie.

Copy DVD to DVD disc: Wondershare DVD Copy supports all popular DVD discs which include: DVD–5 and DVD–9; DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL, DVD-R DL,and DVD-RAM.
Select Copy Target
If you are copying a DVD disc from your DVD-ROM to a blank DVD disc, Wondershare DVD Copy will ask you to insert a blank DVD disc when the program gets ready to burn. Then you can just take the original DVD disc out and insert a blank DVD disc.

But if you have two or multiple DVD Burners, you just need to change object DVD to another DVD burner and insert a blank disc into it , then Wondershare DVD Copy will automatically copy DVD movie to the new DVD disc. No need to wait for the conversion to insert a new blank DVD disc.

Step 4: Select Copy Mode.
Click the "Copy mode" drop-down list you will see three options: "Full Movie", "Main Movie", and "Custom Mode".
Select Copy Mode
Full Movie: If you want to copy the whole videos from the dvd disc, you can select "Full Movie" mode;
Main Movie: If you only want to copy the main movie, not the feature, the introduction of upcoming movies or other info that are not related with the movie you want, just select the "Main Movie" mode;
Custom Mode: if you want to copy exact titles which you desire, you can select "Custom Mode" and select your desired titles, then preview selected ones and deside which titles you will copy.
